3rd Gen Tacoma / DIY Transmission Crossmember Relocation Kit

We all know how annoying the low hanging crossmember is on the 3rd gen Taco's... it drags on rocks and is one of the lowest parts of the frame ready to catch on anything technical. This DIY relocation kit moves the transmission crossmember upwards 1.75" giving you significantly more clearance, while also give you a much stronger crossmember that will take more abuse than the OEM mount.

The new crossmember is made from 3/16 2x3 Steel, with provided new weld on 1/4" frame mounts. We give you everything you need in the kit to weld up the new crossmember. Since each truck frame is built a tiny bit different, we don't pre-weld the kit for you in case you need to make any modifications or adjustments (Depending on how many rocks you've hit and tweaked your frame).

**This kit does require you to remove/grind off your OEM transmission mounts from the frame. You will also need to re-locate your exhaust around your transmission**

Kit Includes:

• 3/16 2"x3" Crossmember
• (x1) 3/16 Driveshaft clearance pocket
• (x4) 1/2x20 Grade 8 Bolts w/ Hardware
  
• (x2) 1/4" Steel frame mounts
• (x1) 3/16 Transmission mount

This kit is entirely DIY. It gives you the initial parts to help you raise up your new crossmember. It is recommended that you bring this to a professional welding shop to install. You will need to support the transmission while you install the new kit to keep everything inline with the drivetrain while installing. 

The frame of your Tacoma is comprised of thinner sheet metal than our new 1/4" frame mounts, please keep this in mind while welding so you don't burn through your frame
